Don't let the phish bite.

The worst phishing trip you'll ever take.

Businesses that do not consider the dire consequences of the types of documents they send via email can get hooked, fish, line and sinker.  Consider phishing...

Phishing is an attempt by individuals masquerading as a trustworthy entity to acquire sensitive information from electronic communications. Favorite targets include usernames, passwords, credit card details, account numbers, and even financial information, often to be used for malicious reasons.

SPAM can be useful as bait, but in this case, it is defined as emails that cannot be authenticated by the majority of large ISP’s and will probably end up in a junk mail or spam folder.

A few facts that could sink your boat:
* 162%: The increase of phishing attacks from 2010 to 2014, costing estimated losses of more than $4.5 billion.
* 42%: Customers who are less likely to interact with a brand name after being phished.
* 70%: Email fraud originating from domains that are not owned by brands.
* 97%: Globally, the number of people who can’t correctly identify a sophisticated phishing email.

Don't get us wrong. There's lots of great uses for email, but sending sensitive information is not one of them. There are sender authentication and recipient identification methods available, but they can be time consuming and often daunting.

Or you can just print and mail through DocuSend®, and use the oldest and most trusted law enforcement agency in the United States, the US Postal Service to get it there safely for you.  And then you are done – PERIOD.

Casting your line with USPS is a better bet.  You decide. We’ll do it for you either way. For more information on what DocuSend, powered by Mail Technologies Incorporated, has to offer, visit www.docusend.biz or call 877-514-3091.
